Every year teachers day celebrated all over India on 5th September. In India, Teachers' day is celebrated on September 5 to commemorate the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. He was a scholar, recipient of Bharat Ratna, first Vice President and second President of independent India.
Teacher’s Day 2019 will observe Dr. Radhakrishnan's 131st birth anniversary. He was born on 5 September 1888. Teachers' Day was first celebrated in 1962, the year he became the second President of India. Since then, the day has been celebrated every year. Dr. Radhakrishnan highly believed that teachers should be the best minds in the country.
