The first informal summit will be held in the coastal town of Mamallapuram, Chennai between PM Narendra Modi and Chinese President Xi Jinping.

At the greeting of the Prime Minister, the President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping will visit Chennai, India from October 11-12, 2019 for the second Informal Summit, the External Affairs Ministry said.

The MEA included that the expected summit will give a chance to the two heads to proceed with their talks on all-encompassing issues of two-sided, local and worldwide significance.

The second casual summit will be held in the shoreline sanctuary town of Mamallapuram in Tamil Nadu. The casual summit is required to concentrate on taking forward two-sided ties despite contrasts on a few clingy issues.
