Delhi Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) chief Manoj Tiwari on Saturday assaulted Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal after Prime Minister Narendra Modi's niece got robbed in Civil Lines zone in Delhi.

Damayanti Ben Modi was on Thursday robbed of her tote close to Civil Lines territory on Saturday. The occurrence occurred after two bicycle borne villains grabbed her tote and fled from the spot. Damayanti Ben Modi said that she was bearing Rs. 56,000 in real money, two cell phones and significant reports in her wallet.

Talking with India Today TV, Manoj Tiwari accused the "illegal immigrants" for an ascent in crime in Delhi. Manoj Tiwari additionally assaulted Delhi chief minister for calling the interlopers "siblings" and shielding them from indictment.

"Delhi as been seeing a few such violations and we have been stating that 90 percent of illicit outsiders are liable for an ascent in the wrongdoings in the city however with regards to making a move against them, the Delhi chief minister says that they [illegal immigrants] siblings. Arvind Kejriwal has been securing them," Manoj Tiwari said.

As per reports, Damayanti Ben Modi came back to Delhi from Amritsar on Saturday morning. She had booked a room at Gujarati Samaj Bhavan in the Civil Lines zone. At the point when she arrived at the entryways of the inn, two bicycle borne knaves grabbed her satchel and fled from the spot.

Damayanti Ben Modi said that she was bearing Rs. 56,000 in real money, two cell phones and significant records in her wallet.
